Workshop for teens with disabilities, ages 13-17. Class is taught by Rachel Mclaughlin, a certified Special Education teacher and artist. All levels and abilities are welcome.

Does your teen love art? Do you want them to explore a variety of different art mediums in a fun and supportive environment?

Participants in this workshop will learn the art of faux batik and create a sea turtle painting and 8x10 embellished acrylic Name painting on canvas.

Class agenda:

Getting to know the studio/teacher/classmates.

Intro drawing/coloring activity

Watercolor/batik instruction and kanji painting

Lunch break

Acrylic painting - Names on canvas with 3-D embellishments

Limit of 8 participants.
