Summer ART Camp - Ages 11-14

Does your teen love exploring different Art mediums? Do you want to expand their creativity and knowledge of art and art history? Do they enjoy nature exploration? Love music?
July 18 - July 21, 2022 (4 camp days)

In this creative, fun and educational summer ART camp taught by a certified K-12 Art teacher, artists ages 11-14 will learn about the Elements of Art, Principles of Design, basic drawing and painting techniques and explore the inspiring work of famous artists. Projects include portraits, landscapes, bisque ceramics and nature-inspired art.
Depending on the weather, we will also be exploring the 10 wooded acres surrounding the studio. Nature has inspired some of the world’s most beautiful art. We are lucky to host this camp in such a majestic part of Albemarle county, about 15 minutes south of downtown C’ville. In addition, one day during Camp, artists will tour Mountainside Music Studio (located on the property) and have the opportunity to play drums and the piano, learn about sound engineering and have a short dance party!
Maximum of 10 participants, ages 11-14
Monday, July 18 to Thursday, July 21, 2021 10:00-2:30 PM (4.5 hours)
Studio waiver is required for all participants.
Campers bring a lunch Monday-Wednesday.
Camp cost: $225 includes all art supplies, a camp t-shirt, daily snacks and a pizza party on Thursday
Siblings? We offer a 20% discount for siblings/families after the first full-price registration.
To hold your spot at Camp, we require a $100 deposit that is fully refundable up to June 18, 2021.
